Building Your Social Studies Content Knowledge 3.0
Blended Learning of History

Blended learning is the name of the game lately! This session will allow teachers to build their content knowledge of a variety of history topics in a in-person and virtual setting. Partnering with PBS Learning Media, this session will include a 3 hour face to face on June 5, 2024, from 9:00 to 12:00, and then links to a collection of documentary episodes, and some online follow-up work to connect the learning to our TEKS and classroom instruction. You can earn up to 9 more PD hours in the self-paced portion of this session.

Important Session Information:

This session will be similar to the sessions we ran in previous summers, but with new content available from PBS Learning Media. So if you took this course in the two previous sessions, there should still be some new content available to build on your content knowledge for the upcoming school year.
