Science Standards & Strategies Series - 8th Grade
Units 06, 07, 08

This ongoing series provides support to 8th grade science teachers in unpacking the TEKS, analyzing assessment items and engaging in classroom activities that will increase student understanding of the more challenging Student Expectations. Each series workshop will align with content from the TEKS Resource System YAG.

Participants will also engage in study of the new TEKS (implemented in the 2024-25 school year) aligned with the current series content and the new Scientific and Engineering Practices and Recurring Themes and Concepts TEKS.
