Reading Language Arts: Instruction Guided by the TEKS
Anton ISD RLA Teachers



Reading and Writing Instruction that is TEKS Aligned.

Important Session Information:


    Reading Language Arts teachers (Grades 3-12) of Anton ISD will be involved in a Professional Learning Community.  Through a number of activities and discussions, the teachers will enhance their skills in:

    • Aligning instruction to TEKS--focusing on Readiness & Supporting standards.
    • Connect classroom instructional activities with New RLA STAAR item types.

    Items will be shared with the teachers so that time can be spent using the new materials to plan for upcoming lessons.
