Human Trafficking in the South Plains

Human trafficking in the South Plains is similar to what is seen across the country, however, it is not what we see in movies or on social media. This leads people every day to miss indicators and encounters with victims of this inhumane subculture. This workshop will provide personnel within the education community an understanding of what human trafficking truly is and how it presents itself in schools. Attendees will also learn indicative dynamics to better recognize victims of human trafficking and be better equipped to respond when a situation presents itself.
