Building Blocks of the General Ledger - Version 18 FASRG



This workshop will be an overview of the TEA account codes included in Module 1, FASRG Appendices, Version 18.

This workshop will be an overview of the TEA account codes included in Module 1, FASRG Appendices, Version 18. Participants will be introduced to each of the nine sections of the 20-digit required account code structure. Each part of the account code structure will be discussed while using the appendices to become familiar with the information for each section of the account code. Participants will learn how to navigate the FASRG appendices to find the information needed.

Participants who already have a copy of this version of the FASRG should bring their copy with them along with the flip chart coding booklet. Participants who wish to have a new copy of the coding book and flip chart will need to complete the form at this link. Each participant may request a coding book and the flip chart.

This workshop is recommended for staff new to coding at the campus or business office level, however experienced staff may also benefit from a review or wish to attend with other district staff.
