Region 17's 8th Grade Social Studies Graduate School Edition
Session #1



Graduate School Edition will be a series of 3 days, focusing on making connections with our social studies content knowledge to the STAAR assessment. This session will continue the learning of those participants who have participated in our previous 8th Grade U session over the last two years. 

 


Important Session Information:


This session will provide 8th grade teachers time to align instruction based on STAAR and unit assessment data,  plan for ways to spiral past content in their upcoming units, and create STAAR 2.0 writing opportunities. (Colonization, Revolution, Constitution, beginning of Early Republic)
