Networking & Support for Region 17 VI Professionals & Program Students



This session is for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVI) and Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists (COMS) who serve students in Region 17, and individuals enrolled in the VI and/or OM Preparation Programs.  Attendees will gain information, strategies, and training on all things BVI.  This is also a time of collaborating and networking for quality services for students with blindness/visual impairment.

NOTE: Session is open only to Reg 17 VI Professionals (TVI, OMS), Program students, and stakeholder agency personnel due to the confidential nature of session content.
The Blindness-Visual Impairment Professional Learning Community (BVI PLC) sessions provide training, networking opportunities, support, and access to specialized materials for
Region 17 VI Professionals and Program students. Community and Statewide partnering stakeholder agencies, including HHSCBCP, TWC-VR and others, participate as able to support VI Professionals' work with students who have BVI.
Meeting room is reserved 1-4pm for networking, device training, & documentation as needed
