For the most beginner of beginners!



Using the Desmos platform as so much more than a graphing calculator!

Important Session Information:


Desmos is known to be a graphing calculator. Do you know about the activity side of Desmos?

This 50 minute video will walk you through the basics of:

  • setting up your Desmos account
  • finding engaging activities for your students
  • managing the teacher side of your Desmos account

The end of the video session will show Algebra teachers how to use the graphing calculator to answer STAAR type questions using the released 2022 test items.

When you register, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to the video. As you watch the video there will be two Desmos activities for you to complete. When you have viewed the video and completed the two Desmos activities, please email htekell@esc17.net to receive your three hours of credit.
