What are the RBIS?
Research-based instructional strategies are 3-5 instructional strategies in each content
area that represent the most significant changes needed to bridge the gap between
research and practice.
The Math RBIS Include:
- Balance Conceptual and Procedural
- Depth of Key Concepts
- Coherence of Key Concepts
- Productive Struggle
Who should attend the RBIS for Math Training?
- District and campus leaders seeking to strengthen mathematics instruction in their school(s)
- District and campus leaders who are implementing High Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) in the area of mathematics
