Aligning the TEKS Resource System Tools for STAAR Success

Important Session Information:


After seeing what new ways of thinking and processing STAAR 2.0 required of students, classroom teachers need to know how to use what they already have to address these demands in everyday classroom instruction:

  • Creating "End in Mind" Unit Assessments
  • Constructing an Effective Lesson Plan
  • Creating Engaging Bell Ringers
  • Identifying Purposeful Daily Objectives
  • Utilizing Intentional Questioning Strategies
  • Effectively Closing a Lesson
  • Assessing with Aligned Exit Tickets

Instructional Leaders will understand how to guide teachers through this powerful tool of the TEKS Resource System so that it will directly impact their classroom instruction.
