Creating a Solid Math Foundation with Hands-On Learning
K-2 Math Teachers



K-2 math teachers will have the opportunity to learn more about using hands-on activities to build a strong mathematical foundation for their students.

Teachers will:

  • Learn the importance of building both conceptual and procedural understandings
  • Incorporate hands-on activities into whole group and small group settings
  • Set up routines for using manipulatives in a meaningful way
