New to Teaching Social Studies Academy Day 1



Participants who are new to teaching Social Studies will gain content knowledge about their TEKS. The session will also include some best practices and instructional strategies to increase student engagement in the classroom.

Important Session Information:


We will be doing this training in a hybrid model. We will meet in person  for three hours from 9:00-12:00 at the ESC. To receive the remaining of the three hours, you will be working in an self-paced Canvas course. You will have seven days to complete the asynchronous part of the course (Friday July 28, 2023).
