Project WILD: Building Environmental Awareness
Off Site at Lubbock Lake Landmark

Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program that focuses on wildlife and habitat. The goal of Project WILD is to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment.

Experience life science outside through role playing and engaging hands-on activities.  Participants will leave with a 350 page book full of lessons for elementary through high school.  This workshop will feature tried and true activities from 3rd-12th grade.

Come ready to play and learn science!  Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes and bring a water bottle.  For some activities, we may be outside for a short amount of time.

A WILD CURRICULUM!

Project WILD's mission is to provide wildlife-based conservation and environmental education that fosters responsible actions toward wildlife and related natural resources. All curriculum materials are backed by sound educational practices and theory, and represent the work of many professionals within the fields of education and natural resource management from across the country.

WHY PROJECT WILD?

As our planet grows more crowded every day, natural and wild places are rapidly diminishing . . . and so is wildlife. Project WILD explores how people can understand wildlife and habitat and make decisions that use natural resources wisely.
