Addressing Complex Communication Needs for AAC Users and Gestalt Language Processors

This presentation will familiarize SLPs with the basics of gestalt language processing while also considering the role that AAC plays for these individuals. We will also consider how to coach and support AAC stakeholders to build healthy habits so they can confidently implement AAC beyond the therapy session and integrate strategies into classroom curriculum.
