Managing Student Activity Funds
This session will review the guidance included in the Financial Accountability System Resource Guide (FASRG), Appendix H for Activity Funds. There will be discussion of the differences between campus and student activity funds. Also, best practices for accounting, managing, and establishing internal controls will be discussed. There are state resources for sales tax issues which will also be included. The audience will participate in discussions of various scenarios and how districts may address them. If you are responsible for managing activity funds, this session will be a great resource!
