TFAR Training
TFAR :Innovative Look at Formative Assessment for STAAR Redesign and Content Specific Support

TFAR Training for leaders wanting to create and share items.

Important Session Information:

This training will be a in depth look at TFAR (Texas Formative Assessment Resource) and how this tool can be used to prepare students for the STAAR and EOC State Assessments.

The morning time will be spent in whole group where we look at the TFAR and Cambium platforms, how to create items and assessments, how we might use this for instruction or bell ringers, how to pull content from shared libraries, how to proctor this for your classroom or school, and how to look at the data.

The afternoon will be spent with our content specialists creating items under the STAAR Redesign, sharing content and creating workgroups, and aligning items with content level TEKS.

Participants will leave with items created and ready to use TFAR for Formative Assessment in the next school year.

This training will be most helpful if participants have a Cambium log in, which can be obtained by your District Testing Coordinator.
