Title III ELA: BTLPT Supplemental 2 Day Academy

This 2-day training will help teachers review the components of the Spanish Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test (BTLPT) #190 needed for Bilingual Education certification. The four competencies: Listening Comprehension, Oral Expression, Reading Comprehension, and Written Expression will be covered. Test format and test practice will be provided.  Attendees must attend both days.

As a reminder, it is not allowable for a school district that is under a bilingual exception or ESL waiver to use Title III funds for this training. School districts under a bilingual exception or ESL waiver are required to use 10% of its BEA for certification training.

Important Session Information:

This 2 day training will provide those seeking Bilingual certification test prep guidance. This is a full two day training and participants will have opportunities to practice test types for each of the Domains. 

Resources for certification preparation will be provided to all participants.

This training is for teachers seeking Bilingual Certification. This is an additional certification that can be added to your initial teaching certification.
