Hands-On Math & Reading in K-2
Make the Tricky Sticky



During this Workshop, K-2 Teachers will:

  • Learn hands-on strategies for teaching reading & spelling, including: Phoneme Grapheme Mapping (PGM), Heart Words, Alphabet Arcs, and other ideas for Stations
  • Learn how to incorporate math manipulatives including: Rekenreks, Beaded Number Lines, Ten Frames, and other ideas for Stations
  • Plan ways to implement the new ideas into upcoming reading, spelling, and math units

TEACHERS: PLEASE BRING PLANNING MATERIALS FOR MATH, READING AND SPELLING INCLUDING CALENDARS, SCOPE & SEQUENCES, ETC. or BRING A DEVICE TO ACCESS THE MATERIALS DIGITALLY.
