TED (Transition & Employment Designee) Talk - Professional Learning Community (PLC)



This Professional Learning Community is designed for special education Transition and Employment Designee's (TED's).  The PLC time will focus on transition collaboration, updates, and training.  PLC agendas will be based on participant needs. 

Important Session Information:


The TED PLC meetings will be held in person at Education Service Center, Region 17. A zoom option will also be available for participants unable to participate in the face-to-face offering.  The zoom link will be provided in your registration confirmation email. 

Participants will discuss updates pertaining to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), from the Texas Education Agency (TEA),  and the Student-Centered Transition Network (SCTN). Guest speakers from community or state agencies will also be featured at each contact meeting. Networking and capacity building will be supported and encouraged.   

Additionally, the capacity-building team will meet after lunch to discuss the progress of our networking the ADAVAC,  Texas A&M, and the Student Centered Transitions Network (SCTN). Capacity building meeting will have a separate registration number.
