Multisensory Math 3-6: Using Manipulatives to Support Conceptual Understanding



In this session, we will outline visual and concrete ways to support understanding of math skills special education students struggle to comprehend in order to keep up in the general education classroom, including the elusive word problems.  Participants will explore engaging activities and effective strategies to help students comprehend concepts as we move from concrete, to pictorial, and then abstract.
