Special Guest Presenter for February's CAN PLC session is Ayo Jones, site designer of NoodleNook.com!
Topic for this session of the CAN PLC will be Differentiation for Students with Complex Needs. Don't Miss It!
Complex Access Needs (CAN) Professional Learning Community (PLC) meets for support and training specifically for serving students with complex access needs. While Life Skills/Self-Contained classrooms are managed differently, teach both academic & functional skills, & have students who are functioning significantly below their enrolled grade levels, grade level TEKS still must be accessed.
Join the CAN PLC monthly workshop to plan & problem-solve with other Reg 17 CAN Teachers, & practice using vertical alignment documents & TEKS Resource System. Also participate in training on a variety of TEA-approved topics for effectively teaching students with significant cognitive disabilities, including:
literacy building a foundation of support
inclusion instructional planning resources
quality IEPs accessing the gd level TEKS
differentiation & more
