End of Year Audit Preparation

This workshop will cover critical items to review before you consider final budget amendments for the current fiscal year. The handouts will include a detailed checklist and examples for many of the steps addressed in the checklist. Once the fiscal year concludes, the presenters will also cover items to review for your annual financial audit. For many of the items, detailed reports and examples will be given for you to refer to as you go through the end of year close and preparing for your annual audit. Each year the checklist is reviewed and updated for new items or changes based on current TEA requirements. We know this information will help you develop a streamlined approach to the end of year considerations and hope you will be able to join us.
