TEKS Resource System 101
For Those New to the System

This PD is an introduction or re-introduciton to the TEKS Resource System, its components, its purpose, and its navigation.

Important Session Information:

Teachers new to a TEKS Resource System district often come with many questions: "How do I login?  How do I use these resources? Just what the heck is a YAG?"

During this workshop, teachers will be introduced to the TEKS Resource System, component by component.  Through watching a model, through exploration, and through discussion, educators will come to understand how to use the many tools each component to guide their instruction, plan their assessments, and become better instructors.

As an extra, teachers will also gain access to the TEKS Resource System Resources and Activities Center (RAC) which is a vetted collection of K-12 (Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reading) classroom resources that are aligned to the units within the TEKS Resource System.

This workshop begins at 9:00am and concludes at 12:00pm.
