Starting at 9:00am, RLA teachers will be taken through a mini-lesson and then an analysis of that mini-lesson. We will look how the reading and writing processes are very dependent on each other and how students' can benefit from the integration of the two. By working both reading and writing skills off of each other, we will better use the time alotted to address all of them. We will also look at the STAAR updates for the grade levels.
At 12:30, Greg Reeves will take the RLA teachers through the discussion of how to adjust to an Honors classroom.
