The Walsh Gallegos Behavior Toolbox Workshop 4.0: Maintaining a Safe Campus While Complying with IDEA
This is a Repeat of June 22nd workshop.

This one day, interactive workshop provides a framework and common vocabulary to better equip school personnel to deal with difficult situations in compliance with Special Education laws. The tools in the Toolbox include the legal parameters for short term removals, long term changes of placement, and the special rules for "special circumstances." Throughout the training, there is an emphasis on crafting and implementing effective behavior plans so as to encourage improved student behavior. In addition, sample language is provided for codes of conduct, behavior plans and forms to document the decisions made by campus administrators and ARD Committees. Participants have the opportunity to practice using the tools throughout the training through hypothetical cases and are provided with plenty of time for Q and A.
