BOTify Your Elementary Classroom



A hands-on, tech-based workshop brought you you by Janie Curl, Librarian and Tech Enthusiast from Bean Elementary School in Lubbock ISD

Important Session Information:


Come learn about different types of robots and how they can be integrated into your daily classroom routine. Discuss and learn how these varieties of robots (Ozobots, Beebots, Code & Go Mouse Robot, Botley, and more) can be incorporated to engage your students in STEM-based learning along with their normal academic curriculum. All elementary classroom teachers and specialists are encouraged to attend and to collaborate!

**Note: You can earn 3 hours or 6 hours of CPE for this workshop. The instruction and modeling part of the workshop will be in the morning from 9:00AM- 12:00PM (3 hours CPE credit). Then, return for the afternoon from 1:00PM - 4:00PM to create lessons and resources that you can use in your classrooms (an additional 3 hours of credit). Design supplies will be provided. Your credit will be adjusted to reflect your 1/2 day or full day participation.
