Problem Solving Bursts In Mathematics (Grades 3-8)

Problem Solving has been a hot topic in mathematics for years and we've learned that some tips and tricks just don't work. We are all familiar with Numberless Word Problems, but are you familiar with Problem Solving "Bursts"? Join me to learn all about Problem Solving "Bursts" and how they can elevate Problem Solving in your math class!

Important Session Information:

Problem-solving does not come naturally to many students and as educators, we must provide them with opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of the context and structure of the problem itself. In this session, participants will learn about using Problem-Solving “Bursts” to engage, challenge, and build student confidence in solving any type of word problem in mathematics.
