English EOC Support Series Session 3: A Crash Course in Dead Giveaways
with Gretchen Bernabei and Greg Reeves



This Virtual PD session is part three of a four part series designed to help high school English teachers get the biggest bang for their buck in preparing students for the End of Course Exams. Join writing guru Gretchen Bernabei and ESC 17 specialist Greg Reeves as we contemplate what makes EOC writing weaker and what students can do about it. In addition to discussing essays, we will look at strategies to help students narrow down multiple choice answers through a process call Dead Giveaways.
