RLA Teachers (6-12) will be working on planning, alignment, and activities for upcoming units in the TEKS Resource System. By dissecting a mini-lesson, teachers will understand how through focused planning, we can include the following criteria in our instuctional plan:
- Readiness Standards,
- Daily Objectives,
- Formative Assessments,
- Consistent Reading and Writing Processes, and
- Common Reading Language and Practice (to carry across content areas).
Teachers will then have time to utilize the same Backwards Design Process to plan the rest of the upcoming Units and Performance Assessments.
