Reading and the Texas School Library Standards
With Special Guest, Liz Philippi, School Program Coordinator for Texas State Library and Archives Commission



How do they work together to make Texas students better readers?  Better researchers? 


Important Session Information:


During this session we will talk about the key points in the school library standards reading strand that support the New ELAR TEKS. We will also look at the crosswalk for the standards and the new ELAR TEKS and how we can use this to support our teachers and students. Reading is a foundation, let’s build a strong house on it!

6-Hour Session Structure:

3 Hours Virtual Face-to-Face Introduction

3 Hours Self-Paced Work and Closure

Upon registration, participants will be emailed a Zoom link for the June 3rd workshop.
