Online G/T Update: How to Challenge the Gifted Learner
June 1 - July 3, 2020

Gifted learners are often under-served in the classroom; too often, they are either given more work when they finish early, allowed to just put their heads down and rest, or they become the second teacher that has to tutor struggling students in the class. None of these options benefit the gifted student. In this online course, you will learn different strategies and instructional tools to build in rigor and appropriately challenge gifted learners.

Important Session Information:

After you have registered for the course, we will create your spot in Canvas, the online platform where you will take the course. Your course facilitator will email you on June 1st with instructions on how to proceed with the course. You will work at your own pace and have until July 3rd to complete the course. If you do not receive a course invitation on June 1st, please check your junk mail filter or email or call Debbie Trigo, dtrigo@esc17.net, 806-281-5856; or email the course facilitator, Kelsey Taylor, at gtedu@esc17.net.
