Science Curriculum Planning Session: Grades 6-8 Science
Middle School 4th Six Weeks Planning and Share-A-Thon
Collaborate with your colleagues as we navigate the TEKS and resources available for planning your lessons.
Important Session Information:
6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Science Teachers...Join us for a day of learning and planning. Our morning session will focus on analysis of the TEKS that you will be teaching in the 4th six weeks along with resources that support those TEKS. Our afternoon period will be for you to collaborate with peers that teach the same content as you and plan for this first semester. This year, to enhance the collaboration, we encourage you to share/model a lesson with the group! Those that model a lesson will be provided a certificate that can be used to enhance your TTESS Dimension 4.3 proficiency. If you are sharing a lesson, please complete this form (https://forms.gle/roEDdd6tSjC8PxTYA) to let us know what copies and supplies you will need.
