Scientific Data Collection...It Can Be Messy! (Grades 3-12)

Using Inquiry and CERs to Tell the Scientific Data Story

Important Session Information:

Data can be messy! But we must teach kids to make sense of it! This workshop will focus on inquiry methods that will help students collect and organize their own data and then make sense of that data using the CER (Claim-Evidence-Reasoning) method. Investigations using temperature probes, pendulums, and motion sensors are just some of the tools that we will use on this day!
