New Laws: What are the Practical Implications?

The Region 17 Education Service Center is pleased to provide the 2018-19 Special Education Audio Conferences by Walsh, Gallegos, Trevino, Russo, and Kyle P.C. Attorneys at Law.  The live broadcast will be provided on site at the Region 17 Education Service Center.  If you are unable to attend the live broadcast, an audio copy will be available for interested school personnel.

Important Session Information:

The 2019 legislature made many changes to our laws that will directly impact the day-to-day operation of your school. In this session we will focus on changes regarding student discipline, the use of aversive techniques, the continued fallout from the OSEP investigation of Child Find practices in Texas, services to students with dyslexia and other issues. The emphasis will be on the practical, with plenty of time for Q & A.
