Ethics and Cultural Diversity Training for LSSP's



In this workshop, participants will about the areas of the law from which the most numerous or difficult questions arise, along with other ‘hot button’ ethical issues for LSSPs. The workshop will also examine how schools and school leaders are supporting the social and emotional development of its diverse populations of students. The workshop is interactive and participants are encouraged to ask questions and engage in discussion of relevant topics during the presentation.


Important Session Information:


LSSP Ethics: This workshop will focus ethical issues in the school setting and will satisfy the 3 hour required ethics training for LSSPs.

Diversity Issues in Special Education: This workshop will explore strategies to address dis-proportionality in identification, placement and disciplinary actions of Special Education students.   This presentation will satisfy the 3 hour required multicultural credit required for LSSPs.
