CACFP 101 - Program Operation Basics for Operational and Administrative Staff



  • CACFP Program Operation Basics for Operational and Administrative Staff will begin by covering the purpose and administration of the CACFP.  The workshop will emphasize proper identification of participants that may receive a reimbursable meal by reviewing enrollment requirements as well as eligibility and tier documentation needed to accurately support claim calculations.  Participants will also spend time evaluating the meals patterns, creditable foods, and documentation needed to serve a reimbursable meal.

         Learning Outcomes Include:

    • Recognize the function and structure of the CACFP
    • Recognize key requirements and duties of the CACFP
    • Use the Square Meals website to access program resources
