Planning for Library Time



Terry Handley of Barnes & Noble will be hosting Region 17 Librarians and Librarian Assistants.

Important Session Information:


This workshop will be held at Barnes & Noble at the South Plains Mall Address: 6002 Slide Rd, Lubbock, TX 79414

Region 17 ESC has partnered with Terry Handley of Barnes & Noble to bring the following topics to Librarians and Libray Assistants:

  • 2x2 Books
  • Book suggestions (for Elementary & for Secondary)
  • Librarian Book Discussion
  • Teen, Young Adult Book Suggestions and Discussion
  • *Coffee Table Books (How to use them, display them, work with them.)
  • Questions to engage students and to promote further reading.
  • Book quotes for student interest.

Terry will work with a focus on elementary in the morning and secondary in the afternoon.  The entire day will be beneficial to all participants.
