Organizing Writing Instruction Around Student Goals
In this session participants will learn how to organize your instructional time around what goals you need to accomplish with your students. In writing this includes teaching the principles of quality writing and not so much the "rules" of grammar.
This requires a mix of whole class, small group, and individual teaching. We will take a look at what measures can be used to determine student goals and how to structure learning based on those goals.Participants will make and take activities geared towards meeting student goals.
