Personal Financial Literacy Tools for Life



High school teachers responsible for teaching Personal Financial Literacy, Economics, Mathematics Models with Applications, and CTE courses in Financial Mathematics, Dollars and Sense, and Money Matters will learn how to use student-centered lessons that are designed to reinforce students’ understanding through meaningful, personalized and practical activities. In addition to achieving a comfort level with teaching the financial concepts, teachers will leave with a Virtual Economics 4.5 pin drive with 1400 lessons for K- 12 economics, financial literacy and entrepreneurship courses that retails at $159.95, access to a resource chart that links quality online lessons and resources to the financial literacy TEKS, and a course-specific assessment.
