Celebrating Freedom-- Elementary 3-5 Social Studies Institute
2-Day Social Studies Institute for grades 3-5



Explore language arts and social studies curriculum that commemorates Celebrate Freedom Week. Valuable content will be presented by history experts, followed by interactive Law-Related Education strategies to teach the importance of the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Materials will include hands-on activities and the use of children’s literature and biographical information to help teach students about the notable historic figures featured in the TEKS standards.
