High Probability Strategies for Managing Student Behaviors in the Classroom
This workshop will focus on teacher strategies for maximizing student success in the classroom – with a special focus on students with challenging behaviors. After creating a logic for using high-probability practices, participants will be exposed to a variety of instructional and environmental strategies that provide high probabilities for student success. Although the focus will be on prevention, the session will also include consideration of effective practices for students whose behaviors are volatile and escalating. Across all content, video vignettes will be used to provide examples and stimulate discussion.
