Pre K Poetry Notebooks For Non Readers



"Poetry is essential for children because it is “the best words in the best order.” The rhythm and rhymes can help children develop a love a language—and a love of reading." J. Patrick Lewis U.S. Children’s Poet Laureate (2011-2013).

This workshop will weave poetry throughout the 10 Pre Kindergarten domains.


Important Session Information:


Participant's are asked to bring a 3 ring binder to collect interactive pieces of poetry that non-reading Pre K students can enjoy throughout the year.
