Summer Session at the National Ranching Heritage Center
Genre Connections with John R. Erickson and Hank the Cowdog



A Collaboration between Region 17 ESC and the NRHC.

Important Session Information:


Region 17 is excited to announce a collaboration with the National Ranching Heritage Center.  Join us as we use literature from John R. Erickson and Hank the Cowdog to explore various genres, their characteristics, and the connections between them. We will explore fiction, non-fiction as well as poetry.

There will be time for discussion and learning from each other about how to apply the day's activities to classroom instruction and STAAR performance. 

This professional learning session will take place at the National Ranching Heritage Center, in Lubbock, TX. A Chuckwagon Lunch will be provided.
