Region 17 Online Administrator Training: Nature and Needs and Program Service Options for Gifted Students
2024-2025



The Texas GT State Plan requires administrators who have authority for program decisions to have a minimum of six hours of professional development that includes nature and needs of gifted/talented students and program options for gifted/talented students. (19 TAC §89.2(4))

In this workshop, we will explore the nature and needs of gifted students and discuss options available for GT services.

 

Important Session Information:


This self-paced online course is being conducted through Canvas. The course will run from May 31, 2024, through May 30, 2025. You must be employed by a Region 17 district that is a part of the Gifted and Talented COOP to participate. Once you register, you will receive the course link to self-enroll and the join code. The information will be in your confirmation email from our ESC Works System.
