Gone to Texas: Take a Trip through Time and Around the World
Making Texas Connections to U.S. and World History
Explore the resources and programing of both the Texas Tech University K-12 Global Education Outreach and the National Ranching Heritage Center through their collaborative “Gone to Texas” program. Participates will learn about how various immigrant groups established settlements in Texas and how it changed Texas’s culture and history. Participants will also get to explore education resources at both the International Cultural Center and the National Ranching Heritage Center.
