TELL ME: AAC in the Preschool Classroom
2 day event



Teaching Early Language & Literacy through Multimodal Expression (TELL ME) is a program from Carol Zangari and Lori Wise that is designed for use the preschool classroom serving students with limited oral language and those children who use or would benefit from augmentative & alternative communication (AAC). It will help you integrate literacy and language into daily routines and activities.  Literacy skills are vital for participation in today's society but more than 90% of individuals with complex needs enter adulthood without literacy skills. Come and learn how to intervene early and change this trend!


Important Session Information:


This is a 2 day event.

Day 1 (7/15/24) will introduce the program and the principles behind it.
Day 2 (7/16/24) will be make and take day prepare the materials for use in your classroom immediately upon return to school to learn about the intervention principles underlying each material/activity.
