Template Training for Beginners
This workshop will cover the latest template from Omar Garcia with BOK Financial Securities. This workshop assumes users do not have much experience with state funding or the template. The presentation will review each data element in the template and terminology and will move at a slower pace than a similar workshop for advanced users of the template. The presentation will also highlight the best options for locating data elements needed to complete the template. The presenter will explain how various data elements impact the funding results. Please be sure to download the documents list and bring any copies of information you will want to complete your template. Districts will use their own data to complete a template so they will leave with a completed template. Laptops will be available for participants to use or you may bring your own. If you do not bring your own laptop or other device, then please bring a flash drive or another option for saving your completed template so you may take it with you.
