Teaching a Child with a Visual Impairment: An Experiential Workshop
This workshop is designed to support all educators who teach a student with blindness / visual impairment. Gen Ed and SpEd teachers, and paraprofessionals will participate in guided activities while under blindfold. Attendees will gain knowledge and strategies for accommodating assignments and the environment to meet the needs of students with visual impairments. Will you have a student with visual impairment in the new school year? This 4-hour experiential workshop will prepare you to plan for success.
