Math For All!



Math for All is a free, one-and-a-half day training worth nine continuing professional education (CPE) credits. It is designed to help educators build capacity in understanding how specific disabilities impact students’ learning of mathematics. Through hands-on activities, participants will explore how learning abilities associated with disabilities, including
dyslexia and disorders related to dyslexia, impact the learning of whole number addition and subtraction. In this session, participants will build knowledge and understanding of how instructional supports, including the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Guidelines along
with assistive technology, can be used to accommodate and reduce the impact of a disability when learning mathematics.

Important Session Information:


This session will be an INTERACTIVE watch party led by Sarah G. King, Ph.D. and facilitated by ESC staff.  You will walk away with deeper understanding the impact of learning disabilities in math and resources and strategies to help your struggling students.  

Participants will engage in the summative assessment for the course on TEA
learn on day 2 of their session. They will need a TEA Learn account. Information
on creating an account or accessing an existing account will be provided to ensure all clients have access by the end of day 2.
