Region 17 is hosting a Student Leadership Conference for students in grades 9-12 who have been identified as McKinney- Vento.
The purpose of the conference is to provide youth with additional leadership development activities along with hearing from others who have navigated similar obstacles to give students motivation and skills to persevere in their academic pursuits. Topics include goal setting, time/money management, becoming a person of character, and overcoming obstacles.
